Community Solar
New Mexico solar projects shared by multiple community subscribers
How Community Solar Works
1. Select a project
Choose a project that offers the discounts and terms that are best for you. All you need to do is have a utility bill account with the same utility with which the project is connected.
2. Sign up
You will subscribe to a the project and receive a credit on your utility bill based on the amount of energy produced by your community solar share each month.
3. Save money
You will have to pay two bills: your community solar subscription plus your utility bill. However, because your utility bill decrease, the total amount you are paying should be less than your old utility bill.
